I just wanted to inform everyone that Thug Fiction will be “reset” today around 10 AM eastern for a very important site upgrade.  What this means is that, while all of the currrent posts and comments will remain on the site, ALL of the user registrations will be LOST.  As a result, Everyone will will have to re-register with the site to gain access to the members only sections.  This is especially important because the forum will FINALLY be restored today and you will need to be a registered member to post.  You all can also look foward to a TON of new stories that will be posted starting today, so stay tuned!

Wow I finally updated this “Will be updated later today” post that’s been up here for like a month now, lol. But yes today is a very a special day at Thug Fiction. But, Imma try to touch on some of the major ones right quick. Some of these updates aren’t “brand new”. I’ve been gradually updating the site over the last couple months but I just never got around to announcing what was being updated. One thing you may have already noticed is that you can do a lot more when you post a comment on the site. Some of these things include editing your own comments (for a limited amount of time), subscribing to the comments on any post, and the ability the directly reply to previous comments forum-style. Speaking of the forum, you can now (finally) upload images when you post a topic. And third, which I consider to be the most important update, you can now submit you stories directly throught the website! When you go to the Submit Your Stories page, you will now see a form that will allow you to submit stories instead of sending them to me via email. So get to writing!

And oh yea, we just celebrated our 1st year anniversary. It was actually on March 24th but I was to busy to make a big deal about it then. But that’s kinda the reason why I decided to premier this new layout now, to show how much growth we’ve had. My only concern is that Thug Fiction has slowly evolved into more of a black news blog over the course of this year. This was honestly never my intention considering there are already plenty of those, but it just sorta happened that way. But at the end of the day, the fan-fiction comes first which is why this is, and will always be, Da #1 spot for sensual black male fan-fiction.

After weeks of planning and nearly a year of waiting to get one, the Thug Fiction Forum is open for business!  And apperently it was highly anticipated since people started joining before I was even finished working on it, lol.  Let me begin by saying that this is the single BIGGEST upgrade to the site since we moved to ThugFiction.net.  I’ll try to explain the signifigance of this without making this post to long, so here we go.  First of all, you can now actually JOIN the site, instead of just visiting.  This will allow you to do things such as making posts in the forum and adding your profiles.  However, in the near future site membership will have even more benefits.  You’ll eventually be able to add photos to the galleries and authors will be able to post their own stories instead of sending them to me (which saves me some work).  As for the forum itself, it’s one of the best around and it should have all the features you want (including the ability to subscribe to your favorite topics).  But of course it is new, so it isn’t as “packed” yet as some of the more popular ones on the net.  But you all can change that!  I’ve already added a few sample posts to the forums so you can get some idea of what types of things should go in what topics.  But once you join feel free to do all the posting you want.  So head over and start talking now!
