Usually I try to be as respectful as possible when talking about Sen. Obama. But in this case It’s kinda hard to ignore, especially considering that his backside ain’t lookin’ to bad either. Here is what that shady Clinton recently said about working class white folks not feelin’ Obama:

Clinton cited an Associated Press article ‘that found how Sen. Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.’”

The future is looking bright for Obama. A recent CNN poll said that it’s time for Hillary to hang it the hell up already. She’s so desperate, she just loaned herself another 6.4 million - bringing the total amount to 11.4 million duckets she’s lent to herself for this hopeless campaign. Will somebody tell me why she won’t drop out of the race? Every expert is saying that she can’t win the nomination. She definitely gets my respect for being a scrapper, but at some point she has to throw in the towel.

Of course, the other option is that she takes this all the way to the convention in August and splits the party in two by forcing Super Delegates to vote in the opposite way of their constituents. That would be the worst thing that every happened to the Democratic Party and for democracy….but I’ll save those thoughts for another discussion. Hillary….DROP OUT!!!

On Wednesday, Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, and his former chief of staff, Christine Beatty, pleaded not guilty to perjury charges regarding an affair and using taxpayer money in an attempt to cover it.

They were released on $75,000 bail each, and preliminary examination has been set for June 9. If convicted of all charges, Kilpatrick could face up to 90 years in jail.

OBAMA RELEASES TAX RETURNS

Sen. Barack Obama released seven years of tax returns on Tuesday and his campaign criticized Sen. Hillary Clinton for not releasing her 2006 returns.

In a statement, Robert Gibbs, Obama’s communications director said:

“Senator Clinton recently claimed that she’s ‘the most transparent figure in public life,’ yet she’s dragging her feet in releasing something as basic as her annual tax returns. Senator Clinton can’t claim to be vetted until she allows the public the opportunity to see her finances — particularly with respect to any investment in tax shelters.”

At a press conference Tuesday afternoon, Clinton announced she would be moving the release date of her tax returns. The documents could possibly be made public within the week.

Obama’s tax returns are available online.

Obama’s campaign is billing a “major” speech about the economy which the senator will deliver Thursday morning in New York City, following remarks by Republican candidate John McCain on the housing market on Tuesday and Sen. Clinton on Monday.

One of the most emotional and powerful passages of Barack Obama’s “A More Perfect Union” speech was the anecdote about his white grandmother who occasionally “uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes.”

I can no more disown [former Trinity United Church of Christ pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright] than I can my white grandmother — a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.

That passage—and the Obama’s perceived disrespect to his own grandmother—is being attacked by the left and the right. FOX News—the same network that has been broadcasting snippets of Rev. Wright’s sermons for the past year—quickly jumped on the bandwagon. Media Matters reports serial adulterer and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) appeared on Fox News’ Your World and blasted the speech on race and politics as “intellectually, fundamentally dishonest. … To reduce a 20-year relationship with a public figure to his grandmother is just wrong. It’s emotionally powerful, but it’s just wrong.”

By invoking the image of a well-meaning and loving “white grandmother” who occasionally uttered racial sterotypes in front of her biracial grandson, Obama perfectly crystallized the inherent and latent racism that is intertwined in our social and cultural DNA. Maybe Gingrich listened to a different speech and tuned out the part on family and integrity. Wouldn’t be the first time—this is the same guy who divorced one wife when she was recovering from cancer and his second wife when she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Talk about being “emotionally powerful” and “just wrong.”

(CNN) — Sen. Barack Obama flatly rejected suggestions Monday he would be a vice presidential running mate for Sen. Hillary Clinton. Clinton, Obama’s rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, and her husband, former President Clinton, have suggested a joint Clinton-Obama ticket — with Obama in the second slot. President Clinton Saturday suggested a Clinton-Obama ticket would be “unstoppable.”

“He would win the urban areas and the upscale voters. She would win the rural areas that we lost when President Reagan was president,” he said while campaigning in Pass Christian, Mississippi. “If you put those two things together, you’d have an almost unstoppable force.”

Obama forcefully shot that idea down.

“Sen. Clinton is fighting hard. She’s tenacious. I respect her for that. She is working hard to win the nomination. But I want everybody to be absolutely clear. I’m not running for vice president. I’m running for president of the United States of America,” Obama told supporters during a rally in Columbus, Mississippi.

If anyone should be suggesting vice presidential candidates, it should be him, Obama said.

“With all due respect. I won twice as many states as Sen. Clinton. I’ve won more of the popular vote than Sen. Clinton. I have more delegates than Sen. Clinton. So, I don’t know how somebody who’s in second place is offering vice presidency to the person who’s in first place,” he said.

Same thang in Florida, Obama didn’t campaign in the state because of their agreement and Clinton won on delegates because her name was more recognizable at the time.

Democratic party officials are already talking about the young people in America going to the Democratic convention in Denver and rioting if Hillary cheats and gets the nomination. Discuss…
